Catholic Community Leaders at Manoku Receive Internet and Wi-Fi Infrastructure
Manoku, NONOUTI - A ceremony marking the handover of Internet and Wi-Fi infrastructure to the Catholic Community Leaders (CCL) in Manoku took place on July 30, 2022. The event drew attendance from Communications Commission of Kiribati (CCK) commissioners, staff members, and the entire CCL community.
The program commenced at 10am with a staff member from CCL offering an opening prayer, followed by the CCL Principal delivering a welcoming address to gathered guests. Participants expressed their appreciation through various performances and speeches throughout the day's celebrations.
UAP restores school's computer lab with 20 new computing devices
Abemama - A significant milestone was reached for Kauma School as the Universal Access Project (UAP) handed over 20 sets of computers, complete with internet and WiFi capabilities, replacing equipment lost in a previous fire incident.
The school's computer lab had been completely destroyed during an earlier fire, leaving students without crucial technological resources. Following a formal funding request from the school administration, UAP responded by providing a full replacement of computing devices.
