The Universal Access Program (UAP) has equipped Sacred Heart College with comprehensive internet infrastructure, WiFi capability, and 20 NComputing devices, providing students with valuable tools for academic research and coursework. During the handover ceremony attended by CCK commissioners and staff, school officials expressed their profound appreciation for this initiative. As part of the sustainability plan, the Communications Commission of Kiribati is funding the first year of internet bandwidth, while implementing a revenue model where the school collects fees from WiFi services to build reserves for independent operation after CCK's initial subscription period ends. This technology donation significantly advances the college's digital learning environment, enabling students to access essential online resources and develop important technical skills.
