The Communications Commission of Kiribati (CCK) has successfully upgraded the digital infrastructure at Saint Leo Catholic School in Butaritari through the Universal Access Program (UAP). CCK provided 20 NComputing devices and funded one year of internet bandwidth to ensure reliable connectivity.

The school now offers WiFi services to the local community, generating income to sustain operations beyond CCK’s initial funding. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide, boost digital literacy, and improve student learning outcomes in underserved areas like Butaritari.
